See what a Shariah-compliant car finance plan could look like. Halal by structure, with no interest at any stage and every cost fixed before you sign.
An application takes about two minutes and uses a soft search, so checking will not affect your credit score.
Apply nowAyan does not lend you money, so there is no loan and no interest to calculate. We buy the car outright and lease it to you for a fixed monthly rental, and ownership transfers to you at the end of the term. That structure is called Ijara wa Iqtina.
Because most people arrive comparing offers from conventional lenders, the figures above are expressed as an APR-equivalent: the annualised total of the charges you pay, presented the same way a conventional APR would be, so the two can be compared like for like. It is a comparison device, not interest.
Deposit. The minimum is 5% of the car price. A larger deposit reduces the amount financed and therefore the monthly rental.
Amount financed. The car price less your deposit. This is what Ayan pays the dealership on your behalf.
Monthly rental. A fixed amount, agreed in full before you sign. It does not vary with the Bank of England base rate.
Total cost of the car. Your deposit plus every rental payment across the term. There is no balloon payment at the end.
Not by structure. You pay an agreed rental-profit charge instead of interest, and the total is fixed and disclosed before you sign. Settling ahead of schedule means you pay less in total rental charges than running to the end of the term, with no early repayment fee.
Anyone, regardless of faith. Ayan operates in England, Scotland and Wales, and finances any car from any approved dealership in line with your approval terms. All applications are subject to status and affordability checks.
