London, 5 November 2026
Ayan Capital, the UK's only FCA-authorised dedicated halal car finance lender, has partnered with Vertu, one of the UK's leading automotive retailers.
The partnership grew out of a shared focus on a community that has too often been overlooked. For many Muslims in the UK, buying a car has meant saving for years to pay cash, or using finance that doesn't align with their values. From the first conversations, Vertu's team wanted to understand those customers properly, and to find a way to serve them better.
From today, customers anywhere in the UK can browse Vertu's used car stock from more than 190 dealerships and finance it the halal way, all in one journey. Browse Vertu cars
Ayan's finance is structured as Ijara wa Iqtina: Ayan buys the vehicle, the customer pays an agreed monthly rent, and ownership transfers at the end of the term. No interest is charged at any stage.
Over the coming months, Ayan and Vertu will also be working together with local communities and mosques, starting in Birmingham and Leicester.
Furkat Suvhanov, Chief Operating Officer at Ayan Capital, said:
"You can often tell when a partnership is right from the very first conversations. What stood out from day one was how customer-focused the Vertu team were. The conversations were never just about getting a partnership live, but about understanding the needs of a community that has been underserved for far too long. Their openness and genuine desire to make a difference have made this a pleasure to work on."
